Supply Chain Manager — Agriculture
About the Role
SelfCrops is hiring a Supply Chain Manager to oversee farm-to-market logistics, manage procurement from farmer-producer organisations (FPOs), and ensure quality control across the supply chain. Key Responsibilities: • Plan and manage end-to-end supply chain from farm procurement to retail/export delivery • Build and maintain relationships with FPOs, mandis, cold storage facilities, and transporters • Negotiate procurement prices with farmer groups and aggregators • Implement quality control processes at procurement and packing centres • Manage inventory, demand forecasting, and seasonal stock planning • Coordinate with agro-processing units for value-added products
Requirements
• MBA or B.E with 5–8 years in agri supply chain, food processing, or FMCG logistics • Experience managing cold chain and perishable produce supply chains • Strong vendor negotiation and relationship management skills • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/custom) • Knowledge of export quality standards (APEDA, FSSAI) preferred
