About the Role
SelfCrops is expanding into integrated farming with livestock and dairy as key components. We need a Livestock & Dairy Farm Advisor to support farmers managing cattle, goats, and poultry alongside crop farming in the Tirupati region. Key Responsibilities: • Advise farmers on breed selection, feeding management, and housing for dairy cattle and goats • Implement vaccination schedules and disease prevention programmes in coordination with veterinarians • Guide farmers on milk production optimisation, fodder crop cultivation, and feed formulation • Coordinate with dairy procurement partners for farmer-direct milk collection routes • Conduct training programmes on animal husbandry best practices • Maintain livestock farm records — health logs, production data, and income tracking
Requirements
• B.V.Sc, B.Sc Animal Husbandry, or B.Sc Agriculture (livestock specialisation) • 2–5 years in livestock extension services, dairy advisory, or integrated farming • Strong knowledge of HF/Jersey cattle breeds and goat farming in South India • Telugu proficiency essential for farmer communication • Willingness to travel to remote farms including early morning dairy routes
