About the Role

SelfCrops is building smart irrigation and crop monitoring systems. We need an IoT Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain sensor networks and automated control systems for precision farming.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design IoT sensor networks for soil moisture, temperature, humidity, and pest detection
• Program microcontrollers (Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi) for farm automation
• Develop MQTT-based data pipelines from field sensors to the cloud
• Integrate IoT data with our precision agriculture dashboard
• Conduct field installations and farmer training on smart devices
• Troubleshoot hardware failures and software issues remotely and on-site

Requirements

• B.E/B.Tech in Electronics, ECE, Computer Science, or related
• 2–4 years in IoT product development
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and MQTT protocols
• Hands-on with ESP32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and LoRa modules
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub) preferred
• Willingness to travel to rural farm sites for installation
