Field Agricultural Officer
About the Role
SelfCrops is hiring Field Agricultural Officers to be the direct link between farmers and our platform — conducting field visits, collecting crop data, providing crop advisory, and onboarding farmers onto the SelfCrops digital system. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct daily village visits to enrolled and prospective farmer households • Assess crop conditions and provide on-field advisory for pest, disease, and nutrition • Onboard farmers to the SelfCrops mobile app and digital platform • Collect geo-tagged field photos, crop data, and soil samples • Coordinate input delivery and collection of crop produce • Attend weekly team meetings and submit daily field reports
Requirements
• B.Sc Agriculture or Diploma in Agriculture • 1–3 years in any farm-related advisory or extension role • Strong communication skills in Telugu • Two-wheeler licence and own vehicle preferred • Basic smartphone proficiency for field data entry • Willingness to travel to remote villages in Tirupati district
