Farm Operations Manager
About the Role
SelfCrops operates managed farms and farmer support centres in the Tirupati region. We need a Farm Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day farming operations, labour management, and farm-to-collection centre logistics. Key Responsibilities: • Plan and supervise all farm operations — land preparation, sowing, irrigation, fertilisation, harvest • Manage labour teams including hiring, scheduling, productivity, and compliance • Coordinate with input suppliers for timely delivery of seeds, fertilizers, and equipment • Implement quality control at harvest — grading, packaging, and cold storage management • Monitor crop progress against targets and flag risks to leadership • Maintain farm records, production logs, and compliance documentation
Requirements
• B.Sc Agriculture or B.Tech Agriculture Engineering with 4–7 years in farm management • Hands-on experience managing large-scale farm operations (50+ acres) • Knowledge of drip/sprinkler irrigation systems and mechanised farming • Strong labour management skills — experience managing 50+ seasonal workers • Proficiency in Telugu; experience in Andhra Pradesh farming ecosystem
