About the Role
SelfCrops is hiring an experienced Agronomist to support farmers across Andhra Pradesh with crop advisory, soil health management, and yield improvement strategies. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct field visits to assess crop health, soil conditions, and irrigation practices • Advise farmers on crop variety selection, fertilizer application, and pest management • Collect and record field data for precision agriculture models • Coordinate with agri-input suppliers and government extension officers • Prepare agronomy reports and crop performance summaries • Train field agents on best agricultural practices
Requirements
• B.Sc or M.Sc in Agronomy, Agriculture Science, or related field • 2–5 years field experience in crop advisory • Strong knowledge of Kharif and Rabi crop cycles in South India • Experience with soil testing and fertilizer recommendation • Two-wheeler license (field travel required) • Telugu and English communication skills
