Agri Business Development Executive
About the Role
SelfCrops is hiring an Agri Business Development Executive to expand partnerships with FPOs (Farmer Producer Organisations), NABARD, government schemes, agri-banks, and institutional buyers for our platform. Key Responsibilities: • Identify and onboard new FPOs, cooperatives, and agri institutions as platform partners • Develop relationships with NABARD, APEDA, and state agriculture department officials • Negotiate tie-ups with institutional commodity buyers (processors, exporters, retailers) • Lead presentations and proposals for government-funded agri programmes • Coordinate with the product team to customise the platform for institutional clients • Track business metrics: new partners added, revenue per partnership, renewal rate
Requirements
• MBA or graduate with strong agri-business background • 3–5 years in agri business development, FPO management, or institutional sales • Understanding of NABARD schemes, PM-KISAN, and Andhra Pradesh agriculture programmes • Strong network in the Tirupati/Rayalaseema agri ecosystem preferred • Fluency in Telugu and English; willingness to travel
