Technical Architect
About the Role
NuSummit is seeking a Technical Architect to lead platform design, define technical strategy, and mentor engineering teams on enterprise transformation programs. Key Responsibilities: • Own end-to-end solution and application architecture for enterprise client programs • Lead technical roadmap creation and present architectural decisions to senior stakeholders • Design cloud-native microservices architectures on AWS/Azure/GCP • Define API strategies, integration patterns, and data flow designs • Conduct architecture reviews, proof-of-concepts, and technology evaluations • Mentor and guide development teams on technical best practices and standards • Drive adoption of modern engineering practices: TDD, CI/CD, DevOps, IaC About NuSummit: NuSummit's architecture practice advises Fortune 500 clients on cloud-native modernization, platform engineering, and enterprise digital transformation.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience: • 8+ years total experience with 3+ years in architecture or solution design roles • Deep expertise in distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures • Hands-on cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) with certifications preferred • Strong API design skills: REST, GraphQL, gRPC, and API gateway patterns • Experience with domain-driven design (DDD) and clean architecture principles • Proven ability to lead technical teams and influence without authority • Excellent written and verbal communication for executive and client-facing presentations
