Network Engineer
About the Role
NuSummit is looking for a Network Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure for global clients. Key Responsibilities: • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot L2/L3 Cisco switches and routers • Manage Palo Alto next-generation firewalls, security policies, and VPN configurations • Design and implement BGP, OSPF, and MPLS routing across WAN environments • Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, or Zabbix • Respond to network incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive resolution • Implement network security best practices, segmentation, and access controls • Document network topology, IP addressing schemes, and change records About NuSummit: NuSummit's infrastructure team manages global enterprise network environments across BFSI, manufacturing, and technology sectors.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience: • 4+ years of enterprise networking experience • Strong hands-on skills with Cisco routers, switches, and IOS • Experience configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama • Proficiency in routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP • Site-to-site and remote access VPN configuration (IPSec/SSL) • CCNA/CCNP certification required; Palo Alto PCNSE a plus • Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies (Cisco Viptela, Meraki) preferred
