Kafka Technical Consultant
About the Role
NuSummit is hiring a Kafka Technical Consultant to design and implement event-driven architectures for enterprise clients. Key Responsibilities: • Design and implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka and Confluent Platform • Manage and monitor Confluent Kafka clusters in production environments • Develop Kafka Streams and KSQL-based real-time data pipelines • Lead performance tuning, capacity planning, and disaster recovery strategies • Work with clients to assess, architect, and migrate data pipelines to Kafka • Manage Schema Registry, Kafka Connect connectors, and MirrorMaker setups • Provide L3 support and resolution for Kafka-related incidents About NuSummit: NuSummit is a technology consulting firm specializing in cloud, data engineering, and enterprise IT solutions. Requirements
Required Skills & Experience: • 4+ years hands-on experience with Apache Kafka in production • Strong expertise in Confluent Platform, KSQL, and Schema Registry • Proficiency in Java for Kafka producer/consumer development • Experience with Kafka Connect, MirrorMaker, and stream processing • Understanding of distributed systems and messaging architectures • Confluent Certified Developer or Administrator certification preferred • Strong communication skills for client-facing engagements
