Agri Store Manager
About the Role
SelfCrops is opening agri-input retail stores in Tirupati to serve local farmers with seeds, fertilizers, crop protection, farm tools, and advisory services. We need an Agri Store Manager to run daily store operations, manage a team of sales staff, and deliver an outstanding farmer service experience. Key Responsibilities: • Manage daily operations of the SelfCrops agri-input retail store • Supervise and train a team of 4–6 store sales executives • Maintain optimal stock levels — reorder, receive, verify, and shelve inventory • Handle high-value product categories: seeds (paddy, groundnut, chilli), fertilizers, agrochemicals, farm tools • Achieve monthly sales targets and upsell value-added products • Build relationships with walk-in farmers — provide crop advisory alongside product sales • Handle billing, cash management, daily sales reconciliation, and reports to management • Coordinate with supply chain team on product availability and delivery timelines • Ensure compliance with pesticide licensing and FSSAI norms for fertilizer retail
Requirements
• B.Sc Agriculture or any graduate with agri retail experience • 3–6 years in agri input retail, seeds company, or farm store management • Hands-on experience managing store staff and inventory in an agri environment • Strong knowledge of seeds, fertilizers, and crop protection products used in Andhra Pradesh • Proficiency in Telugu for farmer-facing communication • Basic computer skills — billing software, Excel, inventory management systems • Pesticide dealer licence or willingness to obtain one
